A beautiful welcome from Warburton kids and elders. The Warburton people have organized a big BBQ at the pool for us and also give me a Chance’s to meet the elders of Warburton. I cannot wait to go for a swim in the pool after 16 days walking the western desert. Time to relax and have a talk with the people of Warburton
“Welcome to country by Colin West and Carey Simms.” – Rowen
“At the pool, a warm welcome for Clinton.” – Noonie
I just wanted to thanks elder Carey Simms, Colin West for welcome me in to Warburton community. Also I just wanted to thank elder Philip West who not here right now for making me boomerang and giving them to me as a give for my walk.
O.k need to let everyone know that I not just walking across a whole country because I want to live a normal life. People need to realise that behind closed door I being doing a lot of work on having meeting with elders and local leader about want need to be done in community and the land how to make think right for my people. The paper work, video recording and message from elders. I don’t load it up on Facebook.
Why because one it no one else business but my own and two the government is watching me to see want I’m up to. I will step it up soon when I reach Uluru and start explain more about what I have seen, hear and understand in community that need to be done for elder and for the people.
All the paper work and video record is keep secret because I need to write it all down to put in a powerful speech to speak on community behalf and how the government has failed our people in community, town, city and in this country.
People need to also realise that this walk for justice is bigger than what it is. This why a lot of non Indigenous people have join this movement same as Indigenous people under one think. The walk for justice because there no justice for the people of Australia until some one stand up for the people and that want I’m doing by walking across the country for.
