Day 205: 9am

“It is up to ourselves, that no matter what we have done in our past in life, there is always a way of changing it, to make a better future for ourselves and for those around us. We live our life in different ways from each other, but we manage to work together in so many ways, that in the end, it comes together to build something much greater, than we could ever know, or just how important it is, for the future generations to come. The future is for us to take and make something of it.”

I’m a Wajuk, Balardung, Kija and a Yulparitja man from the West of Australia. I will be walking across country from Matagarup/Heirrison Island in Perth to Parliament House in Canberra, following songlines and visiting communities along the way, where I will eventually be seeking audience with the Prime Minister and address the many injustices against the First Nations people of this land.

  1. Well done Clinton on making such a marvellous journey for a growing voice on indeginous affairs. Hope you make a difference and that all Australians get behind your message to our Elected Politicians.
