[Guest Post] Its a great pleasure to honor Clinton Pryor today at Adelaide: The man walking across Australia for Indigenous communities and their rights! Perth to Canberra – 5,581 KM!

Speaking with him gained lot of information and the day to day issues that Indigenous communities facing…”When the WA Government announced the closures of up to 150 remote communities in November 2014, Mr Pryor knew he had to do something for his people.” – Bala

[Guest Post] It was an honour to join Clinton’s Walk for Justice from North Adelaide, past the parade ground where we paid tribute to fallen Indigenous soldiers at the memorial and through the city centre at lunch time to Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square).
Above you can hear in Clinton’s own words about his journey, where he’s been, the people he’s met and what he hopes to achieve in Canberra.

For those of us unable to attend we loved being able to view the live feeds and see the people out in support. (And especially the smoking ceremony!)

I will be walking across country from Matagarup/Heirrison Island in Perth to Parliament House in Canberra, following songlines and visiting communities along the way, where I will eventually be seeking audience with the Prime Minister and address the many injustices against the First Nations people of this land.
