Day 263: 9am

[Admin] On the evening of June 6, Clinton’s Walk For Justice will join the Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance – WAR in a march through Naarm (Melbourne), beginning at Parliament Gardens.

Clinton Pryor, a Wajuk, Balardung, Kija and Yulparitja man from Western Australia has been on his Walk For Justice since leaving Perth in September last year.

Clinton and the Walk For Justice Team are headed for Canberra, where they will deliver strong messages on behalf of the people and communities the team has met with right across the country.

Clinton says two messages are coming through very clearly from Aboriginal communities right now:

“First – our sovereignty was never ceded and our rights as the first nation peoples of this land should be recognised and respected as sovereign. And also our elders should be given back control over our communities.”

Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance is a of collective of young Aboriginal people committed to the cause of decolonization and the philosophy of Aboriginal nationalism – resistance and revival.

We invite all of the community to support Clinton walk through Naarm. Families are encourage to bring their young ones along to meet deadly brother Clinton.

What to bring: Banners, flags, gum leaves and paint-up.
Must bring rain weather gear to protect yourself from the elements, it is expected to be a cold welcome into Naarm.

Day 234: 10am

As you may know that a week a go I put up a statues about me been nominated for award for National Indigenous for human rights. Well yesterday afternoon i give the NIHR a call to let them know that i couldn’t make it to Canberra by may 10 and that i must keep to the walk I’m doing. But they ask me to ask some one to go an be respective on my behalf go in Canberra to collected the award.

A lot of people may say why would you do that and not go. You should go and collected the human right award for courage because of what you a doing. Well for started I when on this walk in the first place to make a difference and to fight for justice for everyone.

Second of all I don’t need a award yet when we all know I have to finish this walk first before collecting a award like that manly a human right award for courage.

Three of all it dose not feel right going all the way to collected award where the walk finish. When I know i need to make sure I have to walk it there to finish the walk of.

In my heart I must stay true on what I believe and stay true to the people why I went on this walk in the first place. I don’t need a award for what I’m doing. I’m already been awarded thought this walk why because I get to meet beautiful people on this walk, talk with elders, kids and family, meet my people on they country area to talk about issues, walk on country to see the beautiful land and wildlife and most of all walk a cross a country in the foot step of my old people seen traditional time to make a stand for justice and for change.

I have ask the NIHR to let me know on Friday who have won the awarded so I can put on Facebook saying well done to you and keep up the amazing work your doing. I what to walk it and do the right think by my heart and listen to my heart what it tell me to do. I stay true on who I’m and show the people what person i’m. A true man who stand for the people.

I’m a sovereign man, a free man, a spirit man , a leader for my people who has authority to speak on the behalf of my peoples and for those that I walk though on they country area. I walk on my people land to bring justice forward for my people and for everyone else. This government, this corporate government has no authority over me or over my people in different country area. They have no authority on my ancients land and no authority on other people country area on this land I walk though. This corporate government know and have been doing this from the begin organize.

They know the international law of UN and agreed to follow the rule of international law. But they don’t follow the rule, by breaking the law and saying to my people and every other first nation people on they country area you don’t have right and we give you your right. When our people know we know our rights and have full authority over our land an a sovereign people. This corporate government trying to take away our right by trying to bring recognition forward and tell none original habitats that my people and every other first nation people has no right. When we do have full authority and sovereignty right on our land. They agreed this by following the rule from UN by singing us in UN.

My people and other first nation people in they country area we a sovereign people and have full authority on our land they don’t. They have broke ever international law they agreed to follower and have done a act of treason towards us all, they broken the international law. We are the owner’s of this land they live on and they should follower our rule an culture. We are the once in control and we should telling them this our land, our way you should sign our treaty not these. When I’m in Port Augusta I well be organizing things with the people of Port Augusta about the march over the bridge, the assembly meeting and the BBQ after the walk over the bridge. I have decided that when I’m organizing things with the council and the mayor. That the march over the bridge, assembly meeting and BBQ going to be held up until I walk into Port Augusta. I have to walk other 6 more days until I reach Port Augusta. But today because we have to hand over the bus to Deano Walker family to us it for funeral. We have to drive down to Port Augusta to hand it over and also pick up the car. Also when I’m in Port Augusta for the next 5 day I well be going around seeing the kids at they school, talking with the elders and seeing the locals as well. But the main thing being in Port Augusta is to organize things and get every thing ready when I walk in to Port Augusta in the next 6 day after Sunday when Garry and Noonie get back from Perth to continue our walk in to Port Augusta.
