Day 161: 8.30am
Walking night time is amazing. Sometime I think how can I do something amazing walking a cross a big country at the age of 26 to 27 year old. When I was doing my night walk. I pull out my peace of my Uluru rock to pray to my old people and when I just pull it out a falling star fell from the sky and i was like that never happen before.
That when I knew they wanted me to make a wish. I cannot tell you what I wish for. But after that wish I started to feed different like something jump in me and I started to feel better and more happier on my walk. I think my old people wanted help me on not stressing to much and feel more happier and enjoy the walk more.
When I see that star fall from the sky that when I knew I needed to finish this walk of and get to Canberra fast as I can. But it well take time because I thinking of doing something amazing for next couple days before pushing it though on the walk. I well be putting up a post to let every one know what I’m going to do amazing

Day 162: 12pm
I’m walking why because I’m going to fight for justice for my people. I have walked and walking though a lot of community, station and homeland. I have sat down with my people, my elders, our children and my old people. I have listen, heard, felt the pain and seen the sadness in my people eye’s. I have seen the way how my people are living, and how things are not being done for them. But now I see a new hope and fight in our people and elders, tears of happiness when they see me walking into their communities. I now know I am not walking alone and my walk is not in vein as my people are joining me and standing and walking with me together we can do this to get justice for all of us.

While the cake was cooking, we had time to record Valerie were she was born. I had talk to people along this juoney who were born in the bush, but this was the first time I had the chance to record a person at the place where the birth tock place. Valerie was happy to show us and be recorded. She was very happy to be on her Country and where she was born. The mother of Valerie was to catch the train and then give birth, the tree is near an old camping ground, Valerie come first befor the train came.
Once again the stolen children were talked about again, Valerie family was not apart of the stolen generation, they told the same story’s of running and hiding when they could hear cars coming, they were never vaxinated, they came with the needles and ask were are the children, they off playing and running off somewhere, crow Valerie brother said we were hiding in the bushes looking at them till they were gone. This was the life of the children who escaped from the government people, coming to take the children from their family’s. They came back home.
Valerie Cox also makes a very good damper birthday cake. Thankyou. – Noonie
