Days 143 & 144: Mines south of Coober Pedy

Day 143

[Admin Gee] This painting was sent in by Twitter follower Pixie after she was inspired by one of Noonie’s sunset pictures. Admin had to double check cos it looks so like the picture! Thanks Pixie, amazing!

Day 144: 7am

South bound, we will be staying one more night at Coober Pedy, Brett and Jessie will be continuing on the way home. Brett will be returning when he can, it way good to have them with us. – Noonie

Day 144: 8.30am

I being advice from my admin team has told me that state minister of indigenous affair from South Australia, NSW, Victoria and ACT want to get in connect with me and march with me on the street when I reach they area and what to talk with me about something.

I have also been advice from the admin team that labor and the green is now wanted to talk with me about some think. As I stand here on my own thinking about how this gone to play out when we reach Port Augusta, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. Change is starting to happen as we speak. It has started to happen the day I left Perth. It was only the matter of time people is starting to realise what really going on in this country and what is happening.

So there for the only why I going to get my voice head and listing to is to speak the truth and none thing but the truth about how think can be done right for everyone and how think can be done right for our country future. It is time we stand up together for what we believe in and stand together for our children future. People need to realise not to allow our self getting distracted from the big picture. I’m no longer the learner and now have become the teach with much more to learn.

Day 144: 2.30pm

The landscape out from Coober Pedy, open, not a lot of trees, not a lot of rubble over the land South of Coober Pedy. It is good to see the green not tbe rubble. – Noonie

Day 144: 4.30pm

We need to realise as the oldest living culture on earth need to know that our dream time guardeds from the beginning when our culture began are still here living with us and are waiting on the right time. They have been here and have been watching over us making shore we follow the lore that they have pass down on to us from the beginning of time.

This is a screen shot from Benjamin Kenny from Docker River. He has tag me in this from last year and I forgotten to share. So today I’m sharing this and what to thank Mr Benjamin Kenny for tagging me in this.

This what Mr Benjamin Kenny said about this picture: This is a hill ranger north of Docker River about 150km in the Katiti Petermann IPA. I saw on Google earth and it look like a big snake but before I saw this and showed the TOs of this they told me there is a rainbow serpant living in a water hole in that range. The snake is facing west toward Kintore.

Day 144: 6.30pm

I hope this map is not true with how many language we got left in our culture that is still spoking. If it is we must do what needed to be done to keep our last of the language in our culture a live. We are in dark time right now and i making shore i going to push for my people language, truth history and my culture to be teach at school. So that every one know our language’s, know the truth history of our country pass and know my people culture but not our lore. Some think need to be done and I’m going to speak about this over in Canberra.

Update: I being told this only 50% of this has being done so far. There still a lot more language and a lot of reach search is going on right now trying to bring back and revive some language are still spoking by elders who are a live and language that a keep in archive in library. We must not loss our ancient language.

[Admin Gee] This has caused a great conversation over on Clinton’s Twitter page!

Day 136: 10.30pm

It may look like I’m walking a lone in this photo. Day 137: 12.30pm

– Garry

Day 137: 5pm

There no other place I would be right now than setting with my ancient in a cave where they live and draw painting on the wall telling story’s about the land and the wild life. It also place I like to go to set down with elders and listing to they story about they ancient and why they old people draw on the wall telling story about the dream time. The place of healing, a place of learning and a place where you can understand this story why our ancients painted this painted for.

PS I got permission from the ranger who look after this place of knowledge to take this photo.

Days 134 & 135: Mount Willoughby Station

Day 134: 7.30am

After leaving the homestead yesterday, we stop in at Mount Willoughby Station. Once again the people we meet are good and friendly. We sit around a table and talk, we hear how the children were taken to the missions, and again hear of similar treatment, sorrow, the lifes work to comeback to the place of birth, the journey of a life to reconnect to country. Then to here that how their Lore is coming back here on country. The fulfillment of a Cultural man’s life and struggling, working hard to bring his family and his Culture back together as one again on his country. It never left his heart, he now lives it. The British Empire is not here but its laws it left behind in 1901, 1905, do not belong in our modern times, the governments of today model itself on and around a old and out dated system, they have done very little or nothing about to fix it. Culture and Cultural people have and still live on country today, there connection to their history of thousands and thousands of years lives today as strong as it was when the British come to this continent. With the British came death and destruction to these people. Today with what is going on in the middle East, with the death and destruction going on there, Australia should start getting it right here at home. All the people on this Continent are my people, think about who do you think are your people? Most people who come here have come to live a better life or have fled persecution in another country. Do you belong in the last century or do you wish to live in peace this century. This century we have to get it right here at home and stop persecuting the First Nations People on there land in there Country.

Perhaps we should ask the Australian Government for help, after all they are helping in the Middle East. To activity peace in our lifetime we have to start here in out own backyard. If you don’t think so, you are on the wrong Continent or in the wrong Century. Or you can go for government and drink a toast in order, to God, Queen and Country. We need to start getting it right at home no matter were we live.

I am standing on the ground here at this moment. I ask you to go outside and stand on the ground where you are, I ask you are we standing on the same planet we call earth our home. Welcome to my home. – Noonie

Day 134: 8am

It amazing walking at night. When I was walking at night just about 50meter from the team by my self walking a head. There was two white owl fly up to me and hover around me and i was like aye never send this before, They was just hovering there looking at me and then they fly away.

That when i realize the spirit was just making sure I alright and letting me know we watching over you. I never seen that before seeing two white owl hovering there looking at me. Walking at night in the middle of no where out in the bush doing 50km walking in birch black darkness with the star are out and the moon shining it amazing making understand more how my old people and ancient walk around all night because it a hole new different world walking at night.

Day 134: 6pm

Day 134

– Garry

Day 135: 2pm

Day 135: 3pm

We stop for a feed, this thunder storm was in the West, moving N East, it changed direction and started moving S East, the main storm past to the West of us, dumping lots of water along the way we are to walk. We had to stay here the night. Today overcast light rain most of the time to moderate rain. (sounds like a weather report) The heavy rain was last night, I think we could have been washed of the road.

Day 135: 3.30pm

Hey all just letting you know we made it to Coober Pedy town we staying in Coober for about 3 day before we make our way towards Port Augusta. After thee days in Coober Pedy it well take us about 14 days to Port Augusta. They was saying Coober Pedy was the hottest place in Australia and I was like yes I’m ready for this challenge, but nooooo I big Storm come over us last night from the west and made it rain all day on us talk about be soaked all day and I was up for the hot heat. But that o.k thank you to the ancient for doing that for us and cover us with a Storm to block out the sun. I cannot wait to get to Port Augusta that when think a going to start happen.

Day 135: 7pm

[Admin Gee] Hey guys! Event pages for those wanting to greet Clinton in Adelaide!

Day 135: 9pm

One think I learn about life is no matter how hard think get when you a fighting for something is to never give up on it, no matter what happens even if it get to hard for you because sooner or later you win in the end. It will show you how strong of a person you are and how strong your spirit is. This why i when on this walk for justice and i know I will reach Canberra and served justice for all who what justice to be served to this Corporate government.

That how strong I’m and not a feared of standing up for the truth because I believed in my self that I can make a difference and for all who live here. I’m proud to be a original person of this land we stand on and proud to be apart of a people who live here for over 100,000 year and i willing stand up for my people and for my culture survival.

Days 131 & 132: Leaving Marla

– Garry

Day 131: 1.30am

Day 132: 1pm

[Admin Lisa] The Admin Team are really excited to let you know that we have a brilliant fundraiser coming up.

As you know from Admin Luke’s appeal for funds this week, Clinton’s Walk for Justice will not continue without your support. We had a great response with donations and we have more things in the pipeline.

In the next few days we are going to run our first auction. We have been contacted by a very talented artist and he is offering to custom design a pair of shoes or boots to the highest bidder.

We want to thank Trent for his incredible generosity, if you pop over to his page you can see his designs and maybe start to plan your own .

Keep checking in our Facebook page, this is one auction worth bidding in.

Day 132: 1.30pm

I march and march my way down south towards Port Augusta. I’m going to shake think right up when I march my way thought Port Augusta, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. This corporate government better be ready when I head Port Augusta because I’m coming with the truth and going to shake this country right up to bring unity for the people of down under. It time we make a stand for what right and stand for the future of our land down under. We are now in Cadney Park. We leave tomorrow to make our way towards Coober Pedy. It well take us about three day walk to get to Coober.

– Garry

Day 130: Back to Marla

Day 130: 8am

“Somewhere I read of the freedom of Assembly, somewhere I read of the freedom of speech, somewhere I read of freedom of oppression, somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights.”

We are not going let any police, dogs or any corporate government turn us around, we not going let any government turn us around to fought for our rights for better Australia it self.

Day 130: 9am

Day 130: 12.30pm

Now heading down south more, Cadney Park than onto Coober Pedy. Coober Pedy they say is one of the hottest area in Australia. I need to get past Coober Pedy for it start cooling down for us. I been walking none stop thought this summer heat and i’m not going to let the hottest area in Australia stop me marching on to Port Augusta, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney than Canberra. This summer heat well not hold me up or stop me walking down south where think can start happen for this walk for justice.

Day 130: 2pm

Gone from Marla, stopped at a train station to have a look and a train came pass. On our way south. – Noonie

Day 130: 6.30pm

That was a quick trip south. Garry’s car was running ruff and we are back at Marla. It is a good call, we do not need to be broken down on the side of the road up here in the heat. – Noonie

Day 128: Agnes Creek, Tarcoonyinna Creek, SA

Day 128: 7am

This is the starting point of the walk yesterday and the barbwire fence that the owl hit and could not get off. – Noonie

Day 128: 7.30am

It was a cool start to the day then started warming up. A car crash, still not cleaned up. – Noonie

Day 128: 8am

I’m a long way from home, my home, my community, my family and my people. I well not give up until I make sure our community, our home and our land a safe and think are done problem for our people. So our culture, law and the land it self is keep a live. In my hole life this is the further I been away from home. This place of land I walk on and thought other of our people country area. It well be something to remember.

I don’t know what well happen because I never being to Port Augusta, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. But I do know I have to try because I’m walking for my family, my community, my home, for my people, my culture and the spirit of the land. Let justice be served with the power from our ancient and the great spirit of the land well destroy it down with the power of truth you have giving me.

Day 128: 8am

I walk along here green and with a lot of trees, when we talk to people of this land, they talk water holes, rock holes, food plants and animals for food. It maybe dry and unforgiving but, with a minimum of 40 thousand years of living here, I see why they love their country. – Noonie

Day 128: 9.30am

The walker wisdom, truth, courage, straight and healing are the path to leadership.

Day 128: 10.30am

I am enjoying myself quite a bit, the paces across these lands is perfect for me, this is to live this crossing my life at this moment. Here and now.

There is a lot of water laying around the place

I like sharing this journey, I have the opportunity to do this, I move slowly through on this journey, so I share what I see for all to see. Some may never come out here, I was hoping to one day, now I can let others see what I see.

I don’t think of this as a marathon, this is the best trip and journey of my life, one that comes ones in a life time, to walk, ride and to have the time to film take photos and just look, right up my alley. Live it. – Noonie

Day 115: 8.30am

Hey guys quick update. We just reach the last roadhouse In northern territory. We going to rest up over night at the last roadhouse in the northern territory before we cross over the boarder to South Australia. South Australia boarder from where we are is about 20km down the road. The next place from this roadhouse is about 260km a way with signal. So that mean the team and I well be out of signal for about 6 days before we get hit the first town in south Australia. But in the time we are on the top end of south Australia when we pass over. We be visiting community, who not far from the main road to see the elderly, aboriginal leaders and the kids at they school.

Also see how think being going for the South Australia mob in the top end area. At the road house we are staying we have no signal, but we do have Wi-Fi so I can message people. It look like we will be hitting port August within the end of the months. So when we reach the next town I we’ll be giving the port August mob a call to start getting ready to march with me on the street and march with me for justice. I think port August is going to be where think are going to kick think up for the walk for justice. Also we need to start doing some action on this walk so the corporate government know that we the people of this country had a none and we a standing up for what right.

Day 115: 11am

15823536_1915621005327753_8572815381310542558_nI think I need to be more careful with the piece of the Uluru rock that traditional elder and custodian Reggie Uluru giving me. when I was talking with the spirit of the land asking for help and what need to be done for the walk for justice on Christmas day. That night in Uluru it rain heavy and it never rain heavy in Uluru for over 50 years. It mean the heart land is coming back to life and the spirit of the land must heard my voice and they know justice need to be served.

So next time when I pull out the piece of Uluru to ask the spirit for some help it mute rain heavy some where else where i’m. But i well be asking the spirit of the land to watch over me when I walk thought Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. When I get to Canberra I well pull out the piece of the rock of Uluru and ask the spirit to make it rain heavy in Canberra with a Storm over it. So Parliament house can get flooded out and the corporate government have no choose but to shut down Parliament house and came out to side see us.

But like how i said I need to be more careful with the piece of Uluru because it very powerful and it where all the songline connect and the spirit of the land a traveling with me and are watching over me with this piece of Uluru rock I got.

Day 115: 3pm

It is still green along the way South, but starting to feel the heat of the days heading South. This is from camp to Kulgera Roadhouse 54ks. – Noonie

Day 115: 3.30pm

15894911_1915798018643385_1796307193541157185_nYou know what I feeling that proud of my self thinking about how far I walk from Perth all the way right in the middle of Australia thought summer, a heart wave and rain Storm. No one on this earth well never forget the name Clinton Pryor in the century to come. A first nation man who walk a cross a hole country for justice and walk be on Ghandi and Dr King walk for justice.

Walking in the foot step of my old people seen traditional time and may be the last traditional man to walk a cross on my ancient land but I hope I not the last to walk a cross.

The elders have told me I well make the history book and my name well live on when I pass away. The world well know that I well be the first person in humans history to walk across a hole country for justice when I finish the walk in Canberra. Glory, honor, respect and most of all my name well live thought the century to come when i’m gone from this earth because what I did in this century of time of age for my people, for my culture, for my ancient land, for the wild life and most for all bring this country together in harmony.

Days 112 – 113: Leaving Erldunda

15822689_1914244682132052_5806534164399470635_n-1Cannot stop now, I must keep going if there gone to be any justice for my people and this country. Day 113: 5am

I will not give up or let them win. I going to keep going until my people have happiness and our culture survived. This government has done nothing, but destroy the way how my people have live for 100,000 year sing our dream time began and taking everything away from us and made us live in pain and hurt. My culture and my ancient land is slowly dieing out and I need to do something to save it. A None is a none and it time for justice to be served. The weapon of the truth well lead me on this path to served justice, to the road of freedom for my people, my culture, my ancient land to survived so it can live on and also bring this country together as one to live together in harmony.

Day 113: 11am

Today we have come to the turn off to Adelaide, a new year and heading South. Erldunda Roadhouse has been a good stop, food and service has been excellent. – Noonie

Day 113: 12pm

15826886_1914780775411776_9193044095285843309_nI remember day I was born in this world until now. This a photo of me when I stood on Matargarup Heirission Island in Perth for the homeless and the forced closure of community in Western Australia. It stood on a island for 16 month to make a stand and for change hoping there more to life that what it is now and how the way my people in this country are being treated by this corporate government same with ever one else and how change need to come and it has come forward. I stood with family and Friend who believed in it and still now they believed in it. We have a Chance of winning this fight against this corporate government. But it up to you guys who following me and watching me.

The question i’m asking is that are we going to just let them do what ever they like this corporate government or are you going start making a stand for what you believed in and start sharing my picture and tell people it time justice need to be served and that this corporate government need to leave Australia. So there can be cultural government set in place where it is for the people, by the people and in control by the people. We can Do this but I need you guys to start stepping it up now and help me make this walk for justice bigger so the future generation can look back at us and say because our grand parent where have a better life style. Now well you guys start stepping it up or are you going let me and my team stand alone for justice for every one in Canberra.

Day 113: 1.30pm

15825837_1914799318743255_8175177672514545059_nChange need to come and it only well come if we come together as one. If we what a cultural government in place said of a corporate government for multi billion air we need to work together and bring unity come forward. Unity is the only way to go forward and a way to make this country great. We need to also look after the wild life who live on the land because the world dose not just below to humans. But all who was created from the beginning of life. I know it can be done and I know you know it can be done. But first we need to put our difference to the side and start working together if there going to be any change of making this country great for our child future. But most of all every person who live here with us most respect my people land, our cultural believed and our secret site where we do law. I have see the future that this country can become better than what it is now.

I well think always to my self, that I know I walk it to Uluru from Perth. Soon down the track when i reach Canberra. I well say I walk it from Perth to Canberra.

Tomorrow we leave this most beautiful place to get ready to head east to unknown place that we never being before. For me it my first time going to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. But I hope when we walk thought this city, that we well see different culture people with different believed coming together and walking with us for change and a better future for Australia.

I believed in Australia and I know in my heart that this country can be better than what it is now. The only weapon I have left that I well use is the Truth. I well speak the truth to bring this country together and use it in a way to make the Australia people to believe. We the people on this earth what change. I have gotten the last piece I need for the walk and that is wised. Now I’m ready to change this dream to see our country coming together for our future.

Day 94: 5.30pm

15442324_1820052014917533_1620119186230789869_n-1I spend the today walking around Uluru, much was not to be photographed, but you would need to be at its base to see what it is really like. Some places can be photos but to be there, is to see that it is Uluru, not the rock in the center of Australia.

The walk track takes you to very peaceful and beautiful places, that to be there, then you can describe it in your words. To be there is to see Uluru as it should be seen. Even had a walk on Uluru, apart of the track allows you to walk on it, if highs are scary for you, then this is good for you, not very high, but don’t trip over, it is solid rock.- Noonie
