Michael Mansell adds: “I totally support the group that led the referendum push being an integral part of developing new legislation, provided some sobering lessons are learned.”

One of those lessons most notably: that the overwhelming objection to First Nations People being included in a colonial constitution is the assertion and need for regard of First Nations continued Soverienty.

Now it seems obvious the ‘Uphold and Recognise’ organisation will continue from the abandoned Recognise campaign. To further this are the events listed under their website:

Day 197: 4pm

Day 197: 5pm

Always believe, have Faith and hope because the better days are not far. My straight is coming back and my sickens is going away because of the healing from my ancients. That i’m getting stronger and tomorrow I should get back into the walk and finish this walk of to Canberra.

I believe from the start of the walk i can do this and it has gotten me this far. I should believe once again to finish this walk off and stand in front of Canberra with my people, with my friends, with Australia people and with my ancients an god him self. That we shell get justice for all .

Day 197: 6.30pm

I’m just thinking about the most amazing thing that happen on the walk and I got to say it would be the part from Docker River to Uluru where I got to meet the dockey on the road that came out from the Bush. It was Strage that when I left docker river and just walking out from the community onto the road i look up to look down the road and there was this dockey just standing there in the middle of the road looking at me.

But what amaze me was when I was walking out from Docker River when the dockey was standing in the middle of the road The sun was just rising half way over the hill and it shine a little light on the dockey when it was standing there It feel like my ancients wanted me to ride the dockey into Uluru.

But I decided not to ride the dockey and told the spirit of the land and old people I must do this journey on foot If I choice the dockey I be riding a dockey onto Canberra and that be something to see But Im happy that I made the choice to walk into uluru and the rest of the way to Canberra.

Day 197: 7pm

Day 173: 7am

Please sign and share. The Australian government is trying to change think around by bring in new laws to protect mining company from native title. Our ancients land and wild life is more important to us than destroying the land for money. Our elders have fought so hard to get native title for us and this government don’t care and trying to change the rule around. So please sign and share with your friends and family to sign it. We need all the help we can get to stop the government going a head with changing the law around again native title.

Day 173: 8am

What get me angry and fire my heart right up to keep me going on this walk, even when I’m in pain and tired from walking. I think about my community, my people and Australia people. I think about how think a not being done right for everyone and how think can be done right for everyone. I have walk a long way from where I left off and I well continued to until I reach Canberra to tell the Australia government how it is.

No more games and no more ripping the people of. Time for justice is coming and I well bring down the house with the straight of my ancients and even one else that well stand with me when I walk into Parliament house. This people in Parliament house has going a way with a lot of think and it time to make a stand again them.

Day 174: 10.30am

[Admin Luke] Hi supporters, Clinton and the team are still very much in need of your financial support to keep the walk going.

It’s been a really tough couple of months for the team ever since leaving Uluru with car problems, heatwave after heatwave, floods and all sorts.

Every dollar will help reduce the stress AND keep the team going.

This a photo of me when I stood on Matargarup Heirission Island in Perth for the homeless and the forced closure of community in Western Australia. It stood on a island for 16 month to make a stand and for change hoping there more to life that what it is now and how the way my people in this country are being treated by this corporate government same with ever one else and how change need to come and it has come forward. I stood with family and Friend who believed in it and still now they believed in it. We have a Chance of winning this fight against this corporate government. But it up to you guys who following me and watching me.

The question i’m asking is that are we going to just let them do what ever they like this corporate government or are you going start making a stand for what you believed in and start sharing my picture and tell people it time justice need to be served and that this corporate government need to leave Australia. So there can be cultural government set in place where it is for the people, by the people and in control by the people. We can Do this but I need you guys to start stepping it up now and help me make this walk for justice bigger so the future generation can look back at us and say because our grand parent where have a better life style. Now well you guys start stepping it up or are you going let me and my team stand alone for justice for every one in Canberra.

15825837_1914799318743255_8175177672514545059_nChange need to come and it only well come if we come together as one. If we what a cultural government in place said of a corporate government for multi billion air we need to work together and bring unity come forward. Unity is the only way to go forward and a way to make this country great. We need to also look after the wild life who live on the land because the world dose not just below to humans. But all who was created from the beginning of life. I know it can be done and I know you know it can be done. But first we need to put our difference to the side and start working together if there going to be any change of making this country great for our child future. But most of all every person who live here with us most respect my people land, our cultural believed and our secret site where we do law. I have see the future that this country can become better than what it is now.

Day 39: Windidda Station

7am

14717044_706806696136469_3584360427410263428_nI just wanted to thank uncle Victor Ashwin for showing us guys around for the last two day’s and explaining about the land, the law and what happen here in the past to your old people when the white man came here and start to destroy everything. Also I just wanted to thank you for taking us out to see community to find out want being happen in this country area. The story we hear, the pain they are going through and the anger they have at the government for not helping them. It should not be like this for the desert people. It get me that angry how the government promises our people think like they say and than don’t do nothing. The community and the station we went to are on the list to be closed, Kutkabueba community and Windidda station, from the forced closure of community.

This how the government work when a community or a station need help with thing. The government come out to see them and see want they can do and say yes we help we can do this or that to help you. But when they gone we wait and the government don’t do nothing to help our people because the government don’t care or have no respect for our cultures. All this government want from our people is our land to mine it and destroy it because the greed of needing money and land. But don’t care for the people who live and look after the land for 60,000 years.

Thank you uncle Victor Ashwin showing us around. Now we now know what the desert people need to help them for they community and at they station. We well not stop with this walk. Until our people in community or station start getting help from the government or this government can piss off out of this country. Now on our way back to Leonora today.

There was a small flock of bird’s hanging around waiting for up to go, I could not get a film of them drinking, a working dog would get to close and away they went. Victor Ashwin show us around Windidda, spoke on how hard they have keep up the work on Windidda, with little help from the government and not looking like getting much in the future. I wish Victor Ashwin and the members of this community and others community all the best of luck in this struggle for their homes on country.” – Noonie
