Day 293: 10.30am

I be calling up traditional own Reggie Uluru today about some thing and also about seeking advice from them on how I can use the Piece of Uluru rock in Canberra. I what ask and see about burying piece of Uluru rock in Canberra underneath the tree I’m going to planted at embassy.

Also be asking traditional own around Canberra about it to. I what use the piece of the rock that was giving to me from Reggie Uluru to bury it with the tree so it can become a part of the tree. The tree I what to plant well be a symbol of unity between all the 2,000 first nation clan group and a symbol of wisdom knowledge, healing, respect, strength and courage. But most of all united as one for our people, for our culture, for our ancestor, for our law, for our child and for this country itself.

So our people can be proud of who they are and proud of been a part of the longest living culture on earth.

Clinton’s Walk For Justice in Naarm (Melbourne)!
March for Justice on June 6

Click on the picture to go to the Facebook Event

Time:   Tuesday, June 6, 5pm (March at 5:30pm)
Location: Begin at Parliament Gardens, march to Flinders St Station
What:   Supporters March with Clinton’s Walk For Justice

On the evening of June 6, Clinton’s Walk For Justice will join the Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance in a march through Naarm (Melbourne), beginning at Parliament Gardens.

Clinton Pryor, a Wajuk, Balardung, Kija and Yulparitja man from Western Australia has been on his Walk For Justice since leaving Perth in September last year.

Clinton and the Walk For Justice Team are headed for Canberra, where they will deliver strong messages on behalf of the people and communities the team has met with right across the country.

Clinton says two messages are coming through very clearly from Aboriginal communities right now:

“First – our sovereignty was never ceded and our rights as the first nation peoples of this land should be recognised and respected as sovereign.

And also our elders should be given back control over our communities.”

So far Clinton and the team have travelled through the dryness of the Gibson desert, all the way to Uluru and on through the blistering heat of summer to Coober Pedy, Port Augusta and Adelaide city.

As they move through country, the team take part in traditional welcoming ceremonies and meet with local community members to hear their stories, discuss issues and take on their messages.

Now the team have crossed the border into the cold Victorian winter, and are rapidly approaching Melbourne before heading on to Sydney.

Clinton’s Walk For Justice began out of a need within Clinton to do something about the forced closure of Aboriginal communities, and that strong theme continues.

Clinton’s walk is about working together and building mutual respect between Aboriginal people, and between ALL people living on Aboriginal land here in Australia.

To hear more about Clinton’s experience and what he and the team have learned as they walked right across the country, join Clinton and the Walk For Justice team on June 6.

Quotes attributable to Clinton Pryor:

“I started this journey walking from Perth to find the truth and find a new way for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Australia.”

” I have never been to Melbourne before, so I don’t know what is going to happen yet, but we do know it be something to remember. Melbourne will be big.”

“In Canberra I want to bring Aboriginal leader an elders from a cross this country together, also none Indigenous people, to meet and talk about the issues our way.”

Clinton’s Walk For Justice is entirely grassroots organised and funded.

Day 256: The Grampians

Day 256: 8am

Good morning i just wanted to say thank to the Barengi Gadjin Land Council for showing us around and welcoming us into they country area. We had amazing day yesterday We started at a mission called Ebenezee Mission, 1859 to 1904. Finished with a smoking, clearing ourselves of this day, for a safe journey. Culture is alive and well here, with Barengi Gadjin Land Council thank you for amazing day

Day 256: 9.30am

Just letting people know where we are. We are still waking on the Western Hwy to Melbourne. The next town we walking to is Grampians

Day 256: 9.30am

[Guest Post] My son Kane is so proud to be Aboriginal. He was so thrilled to have met Clinton Pryor and his deadly support guys Gary, Brett and Noonie. Proving that team work and Unity will get us on the right road to justice for people in this country, while giving hope and encouragement to our youth – Tanya

Day 256: 10am

I would like to have my say on this I would like to know who representing the Noongar nation the 22 country group and 40,000 of us. Those who got chosen to represent us must think about everything about the history and struggle of our pass in the south west against this government and before that. If is our council group the SWLSA council I going to let everyone know they don’t represent our people there where the once who try to give away our native title for 1.3billion but our people managed to stop it in the federal country so we keep our native title.

The think is as sovereign people we don’t what recognise from this corporate government because they not sovereign government no more and we don’t what to treaty with them. A treaty must come and only come from two sovereign nation group. If we treaty with this government we only have to look at the history of other country like our brother and sister in American and our New Zealand brother and sister what they going thought.

We must think a better way my people a cross this great land and there is a better way to save our culture, language, secret site our old people left for us to look after it and keep it alive. So hope our people in Uluru and other country group say no to recognise and say no to a treaty.

Day 256: 11.30am

Getting stronger and stronger every day on this walk. Making me think about all the community we been thought and everyone Else back at home in Perth and how family, our people, friends and other stood Strong and proud to fight for justice for our self and for every one else. We fought for our right as people and stood for our future to rebuilt after some much was lose. There well be a time when we rebuild what we lose not just for my people but for everyone else to who live here. That everyone shall live together in harmony and peace. But the future is for us to make something of if.

!!! The spirit walker!!!

Day 197: Reminiscing

Day 197: 8.30am

Having breakfast I miss the sun coming up because of the clouds, so I waited for the sun rise over the clouds. – Noonie

Day 197: 4pm

Day 197: 5pm

Always believe, have Faith and hope because the better days are not far. My straight is coming back and my sickens is going away because of the healing from my ancients. That i’m getting stronger and tomorrow I should get back into the walk and finish this walk of to Canberra.

I believe from the start of the walk i can do this and it has gotten me this far. I should believe once again to finish this walk off and stand in front of Canberra with my people, with my friends, with Australia people and with my ancients an god him self. That we shell get justice for all .

Day 197: 6.30pm

I’m just thinking about the most amazing thing that happen on the walk and I got to say it would be the part from Docker River to Uluru where I got to meet the dockey on the road that came out from the Bush. It was Strage that when I left docker river and just walking out from the community onto the road i look up to look down the road and there was this dockey just standing there in the middle of the road looking at me.

But what amaze me was when I was walking out from Docker River when the dockey was standing in the middle of the road The sun was just rising half way over the hill and it shine a little light on the dockey when it was standing there It feel like my ancients wanted me to ride the dockey into Uluru.

But I decided not to ride the dockey and told the spirit of the land and old people I must do this journey on foot If I choice the dockey I be riding a dockey onto Canberra and that be something to see But Im happy that I made the choice to walk into uluru and the rest of the way to Canberra.

Day 197: 7pm

The photo that gotten me famous all over social media back in 2015 for forced closure of community before starting of the walk for justice in 2016 and 2017.

Days 161 & 162: Woomera

Day 161: 8.30am

Walking night time is amazing. Sometime I think how can I do something amazing walking a cross a big country at the age of 26 to 27 year old. When I was doing my night walk. I pull out my peace of my Uluru rock to pray to my old people and when I just pull it out a falling star fell from the sky and i was like that never happen before.

That when I knew they wanted me to make a wish. I cannot tell you what I wish for. But after that wish I started to feed different like something jump in me and I started to feel better and more happier on my walk. I think my old people wanted help me on not stressing to much and feel more happier and enjoy the walk more.

When I see that star fall from the sky that when I knew I needed to finish this walk of and get to Canberra fast as I can. But it well take time because I thinking of doing something amazing for next couple days before pushing it though on the walk. I well be putting up a post to let every one know what I’m going to do amazing

Day 161: 12pm

We just in Woomera RAAF test range place. This place has a dark history pass. So I’m here to read Woomera history and learn about what happen here.

Day 161: 7.30pm

The RAAF Woomera, we stop in a had a look at the town, at the time we were there it was very quiet indeed. – Noonie

Day 162: 8am

Have a listen.

Day 162: 9am

[Admin Luke] Hi everyone, we’re one week into the Crowdfund and have raised over $4500! GREAT job so far.

That’s enough to cover the cost of repairing the Justice Mobile and keeping Garry going. Just like the walk, there is still a long way to reach our goal though.

Please donate and share to keep Clinton and the Walk For Justice Team going all the way to Canberra!!

Day 162: 12pm

I’m walking why because I’m going to fight for justice for my people. I have walked and walking though a lot of community, station and homeland. I have sat down with my people, my elders, our children and my old people. I have listen, heard, felt the pain and seen the sadness in my people eye’s. I have seen the way how my people are living, and how things are not being done for them. But now I see a new hope and fight in our people and elders, tears of happiness when they see me walking into their communities. I now know I am not walking alone and my walk is not in vein as my people are joining me and standing and walking with me together we can do this to get justice for all of us.

Days 154 & 155: Glendambo

Day 154: 11.30am

I can say after month of walking in the heat. Today was the first time in a long time on this walk that we can finely enjoy the weather now that it is cooling down. The weather today where we are at is about 22dragees and i loving it.

Day 154: 3.30pm

A much cooler day to, enjoyed a little excursion around Glendambo today. Sturt desert peas at the back. – Noonie

Day 154: 6.30pm

I was on my way to get a meal. I like the windmill when I look at the windmill to see what the sun set would be like, it look like the sky was on fire, I used the phone on the first photo, then when to get the camera, in one minute the sun set can change. – Noonie

Day 154: 9pm

The camera guy. – Garry

Day 155: 9.30am

[Admin Luke] Hi everyone, some exciting news:

We’ve finally launched our big crowd-fund to keep Clinton & the Walk For Justice Team going all the way to Canberra!!

As those who are following closely would know, the Justice Mobile is in need of some major repairs and we really need to make sure Garry’s rent back home gets paid for the rest of the walk.

Plus there is still a very long way left to go!

Clinton and the team left Matargarup last September and have walked all the way from Perth to Uluru, on to Coober Pedy and beyond. It’s been a long and hot walk but Clinton and the team keep pressing on. Along the way the team are spending time in Aboriginal communities; meeting with elders, hearing their stories, talking with school kids and community groups. Clinton will bring the words of these community members all the way to Canberra.

Please help keep the team going – donate & share today!! Our movement for justice continues to grow. Thank you for your support!

Clinton’s Walk for Justice
By Lynda Nutter October 2016

Clinton’s Crossing
A Nyungah man is walking cross Australia
A Nyungah, Clinton Pryor is his name
This south-west man is walking now for justice
He’s travelling and calling for a change

He’s walking from Perth across to Canberra
He’s walking, to get a message through
You might not know it ….
You might not know him…
But he’s walking Australia for you too

You might think a Nyungah walking in the out- back
Could hardly make a scratch upon a wall
But first week he got a phone call to say sorry
That the “Sorry” said had made no change at all

And as leader spoke to leader on the cell phones
The sun rose higher in the sky
A Nyungah man is walking his country
Walking proud… .and asking why

A Nyungah man is walking Australia
He’s one of the willing and the few
They’re walking all the way to Canberra
Where politicians do…. what they do

He’s gathering the stories of his people
And listening to the stories of the land
Sending out a daily record on his face book
So people in the city understand

Exposing the failures in the system
Learning of the sorrow and the pain
The growing list of promises broken
The struggle, always struggle with no gain

A Nyungah man is crossing Australia
And calling for a right to the wrongs
For an end to injustice and the failure
To find a way that we can all belong

A Nyungah Man is walking this country
He’s walking to get a message through
You might not know it ….
You might not know him…
But he’s walking Australia for you too.

Sometimes days without a signal
Solid road becomes dirt track
But TV News and film crews
Are now crossing the out-back

To Leanora, Laverton,
And Warburton as well
And Clinton’s walk for Justice
Is the story that they tell

He’s walking in the heat of the desert
Through the centre and on past Uluru
You might not know it ….
You might not know him…
But he’s walking Australia for you too

To be continued….

Day 114 – 115: The Last Roadhouse – NT

Day 115: 8.30am

Hey guys quick update. We just reach the last roadhouse In northern territory. We going to rest up over night at the last roadhouse in the northern territory before we cross over the boarder to South Australia. South Australia boarder from where we are is about 20km down the road. The next place from this roadhouse is about 260km a way with signal. So that mean the team and I well be out of signal for about 6 days before we get hit the first town in south Australia. But in the time we are on the top end of south Australia when we pass over. We be visiting community, who not far from the main road to see the elderly, aboriginal leaders and the kids at they school.

Also see how think being going for the South Australia mob in the top end area. At the road house we are staying we have no signal, but we do have Wi-Fi so I can message people. It look like we will be hitting port August within the end of the months. So when we reach the next town I we’ll be giving the port August mob a call to start getting ready to march with me on the street and march with me for justice. I think port August is going to be where think are going to kick think up for the walk for justice. Also we need to start doing some action on this walk so the corporate government know that we the people of this country had a none and we a standing up for what right.

Day 115: 11am

15823536_1915621005327753_8572815381310542558_nI think I need to be more careful with the piece of the Uluru rock that traditional elder and custodian Reggie Uluru giving me. when I was talking with the spirit of the land asking for help and what need to be done for the walk for justice on Christmas day. That night in Uluru it rain heavy and it never rain heavy in Uluru for over 50 years. It mean the heart land is coming back to life and the spirit of the land must heard my voice and they know justice need to be served.

So next time when I pull out the piece of Uluru to ask the spirit for some help it mute rain heavy some where else where i’m. But i well be asking the spirit of the land to watch over me when I walk thought Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. When I get to Canberra I well pull out the piece of the rock of Uluru and ask the spirit to make it rain heavy in Canberra with a Storm over it. So Parliament house can get flooded out and the corporate government have no choose but to shut down Parliament house and came out to side see us.

But like how i said I need to be more careful with the piece of Uluru because it very powerful and it where all the songline connect and the spirit of the land a traveling with me and are watching over me with this piece of Uluru rock I got.

Day 115: 3.30pm

15894911_1915798018643385_1796307193541157185_nYou know what I feeling that proud of my self thinking about how far I walk from Perth all the way right in the middle of Australia thought summer, a heart wave and rain Storm. No one on this earth well never forget the name Clinton Pryor in the century to come. A first nation man who walk a cross a hole country for justice and walk be on Ghandi and Dr King walk for justice.

Walking in the foot step of my old people seen traditional time and may be the last traditional man to walk a cross on my ancient land but I hope I not the last to walk a cross.

The elders have told me I well make the history book and my name well live on when I pass away. The world well know that I well be the first person in humans history to walk across a hole country for justice when I finish the walk in Canberra. Glory, honor, respect and most of all my name well live thought the century to come when i’m gone from this earth because what I did in this century of time of age for my people, for my culture, for my ancient land, for the wild life and most for all bring this country together in harmony.

Day 113: 5am

I will not give up or let them win. I going to keep going until my people have happiness and our culture survived. This government has done nothing, but destroy the way how my people have live for 100,000 year sing our dream time began and taking everything away from us and made us live in pain and hurt. My culture and my ancient land is slowly dieing out and I need to do something to save it. A None is a none and it time for justice to be served. The weapon of the truth well lead me on this path to served justice, to the road of freedom for my people, my culture, my ancient land to survived so it can live on and also bring this country together as one to live together in harmony.

Day 113: 11am

Today we have come to the turn off to Adelaide, a new year and heading South. Erldunda Roadhouse has been a good stop, food and service has been excellent. – Noonie

Day 113: 12pm

15826886_1914780775411776_9193044095285843309_nI remember day I was born in this world until now. This a photo of me when I stood on Matargarup Heirission Island in Perth for the homeless and the forced closure of community in Western Australia. It stood on a island for 16 month to make a stand and for change hoping there more to life that what it is now and how the way my people in this country are being treated by this corporate government same with ever one else and how change need to come and it has come forward. I stood with family and Friend who believed in it and still now they believed in it. We have a Chance of winning this fight against this corporate government. But it up to you guys who following me and watching me.

The question i’m asking is that are we going to just let them do what ever they like this corporate government or are you going start making a stand for what you believed in and start sharing my picture and tell people it time justice need to be served and that this corporate government need to leave Australia. So there can be cultural government set in place where it is for the people, by the people and in control by the people. We can Do this but I need you guys to start stepping it up now and help me make this walk for justice bigger so the future generation can look back at us and say because our grand parent where have a better life style. Now well you guys start stepping it up or are you going let me and my team stand alone for justice for every one in Canberra.

Day 113: 1.30pm

15825837_1914799318743255_8175177672514545059_nChange need to come and it only well come if we come together as one. If we what a cultural government in place said of a corporate government for multi billion air we need to work together and bring unity come forward. Unity is the only way to go forward and a way to make this country great. We need to also look after the wild life who live on the land because the world dose not just below to humans. But all who was created from the beginning of life. I know it can be done and I know you know it can be done. But first we need to put our difference to the side and start working together if there going to be any change of making this country great for our child future. But most of all every person who live here with us most respect my people land, our cultural believed and our secret site where we do law. I have see the future that this country can become better than what it is now.

Her friend that I been talking to over Facebook have told me she be doing a lot more painting of me because she like what I’m doing in Australia. I have ask her friend about when is the right time to put her name up so people can know who she is. But her friend said she want her friend name unknown until the right time. I ready like this painting and I cannot wait to see more of them.

Have also had a talk with a other Friend of my who I know very well. He know a lady from London England who what to write a book about the walk for justice. I have told my Friend that when the walk is finish than it be o.k to have a talk with her and see about writing a book about the walk for justice. There well be a book write up about the walk and it well start after the walk is finish. They say once a book is writing and it mute reach Hollywood if a movie dictator have a read of it and he or she mute what to make a movie about the walk for justice. But we have to wait and see how this walk play out.

[Admin] From FB Follower Carol: Clinton, I am the artist, my name is Carol Mackay Wheat. I don’t mind you giving my name. I have not signed the painting yet as I wanted to work on the eyes and lips for you. I am actually Australian, I live in USA. I was raised in Bowraville, N.S. W.
Good luck with your journey. I am honored that you like the painting.
